PURPLE HEART WARRIORS is HOSTED by Former U.S. Surgeon General Richard Carmona, a Vietnam Vet and Nancy Montoya an award winning journalist who has traveled the world interviewing service men and women. Also, clicking on the link at the bottom will take you to a second video where a group of Purple Heart medal recipients took part in a trip to Los Cabos funded by Richard Mott, owner of the sport fishing yacht "Angel and the Badman II", as part of a project designed to help raise awareness of and funding for wounded warriors who have served in the U.S. armed forces. The purpose of this exploratory trip was to gauge how veterans suffering from both physical and psychological trauma would handle activities like fishing and golfing and whether those activities would serve as "medicine" to help heal their wounds.
