The MOPH Department of Minnesota to hold a special award ceremony to honor Officer Richard Crittenden

The Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), through its “First Responder Program,” is proud to honor the brave police officers and firemen who are injured or killed while serving their community.  On March 24, 2010 at 8:00 PM,  The MOPH Department of Minnesota will hold a special award ceremony to honor Officer Richard Crittenden of the North St. Paul Police Department. Officer Crittenden was shot and killed by an assailant on September 7, 2009.  The ceremony will take place at the 2010 Annual Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA) Dinner/Meeting at Jimmy's Restaurant and Conference Center, located at 3565 Lebore Road, St. Paul. Minnesota 55110.  Department Commander Gary Kinser Present will make the presentation to Officer Crittenden next-of-kin, assisted by MOPH National Chaplain Richard Jenkins and MN First Responder Coordinator Wally Lind.  The Public is invited to attend.
